Nice bike. Would have been nicer without the radiator !

I agree the radiator takes away from the sleek design.

I'm so-so on shaft drive but no way no how does a motorcycle have a radiator.

One of the main reasons I bought the Roadie was no radiator....note that HD stays away from them too as they know it sjust cant be made to look right. I think the Honda VTX is a superb bike but with that rad....no way.

Then again i dont think motorcycles should have fuel pumps either!

Seems I'm a little late to this party....

Honda Fury

If you're into the chopper look this bike may be the production bike for you, but I can't get past the fact that it's water cooled & shaft driven. I know there are absolute advantages to both of these technological advances, but it just doesn't seem right to me. Somehow I think the guys paying multiple thousands for a Big Dog or similar will snicker at you. Not to mention the guys that actually build their own.

Photo of the bike here.

Harley's V-rod.....liquid cooled, and I'll betcha it has a fuel pump, too

Lots of interesting thoughts here. On the tank, I think they were going for that after thought look...sorta emphasizes the frame. You see that on a lot of "real" choppers.

I'm liking that a lot. Apes, pipes, it would be pretty smooth.

I could see myself running around town on one. My Shadow Sabre had a radiator and shaft drive and i never gave it thought. It wouldnt fit my bill as my primary bike, but as a second I like it.

Go belt drive, air cooled and replace the gauge cluster with a nice round one and it's getting close to likeable for me. I just can't get used to those gauges,....looks like a scooter

IMHO...A lot of similarities to the Victory bikes.

The Fury, designed by Walter Mitty , I have been following this I thread and although there are many valid points made about the design, most I agree with… I think we are missing the point… This is not about a “Motorcycle” It is all about “Image” Being able to go out and purchase a “statement” of who you think you would like to be. It’s about profiling and
not having to make much of a commitment. You pay, you play.. The Fury (being a Honda) is not a bike you need to get personal with, little maintenance and easy to keep clean.

It is a good looking bike, especially to those that do not know much about bikes and don’t look to close. Factory Custom is an oxymoron. The Fury will most likely have good sales, owners will enjoy them and have a good time feeling cool and watching out of the corner of the eye to see who is looking. Good for them and good for Honda, It just aint something I would ride . My old lady says she wants one !?

I have owned several water cooled, shaft drive bikes, two of them were cruisers.
For me personally, a “Cruiser” V Twin must be air cooled, must have a belt or chain.
Road Stars are REAL motorcycles.
