NAME THAT BIKE! 5 Years, 4 Months ago
|
|
OK, It's Saturday, I'm at work until 9 PM, and I'm bored...and it seems conversation seems to be scant here at the Clinic (must be because all those darn Southerners are out riding and not at the computer Almost makes me wish I lived in AZ or TX or MS again. Almost. )
So, I thought I'd start a totally pointless thread!
Anybody here actually bestow a name on their bike? What is it? Why?
Ready...set...GO!

Not at work but I'm out shopping.
Never did name my bike. I'm not creative that way. I even let my wife name the kids.

Hey RK
" It's Saturday, I'm at work until 9 PM "
"Anybody here actually bestow a name on their bike?" Yes. I don't usually name bikes but I've had a couple that seemed to have a personallity and soul and should have a name.
"What is it? " Lady.
"Why?" Not very imagineative but I wasn't going for catchy, just the name that seemed to fit.
"Ready...set...GO! " Where we going? I call shotgun!!

One of my buddies and his brother named my bike "red rocket". Kind of angoing joke because I had my dog at their place one day and his "thing" started protuding out...lol they started laughing and said his "red rocket" is sticking out....so now they call my bike the "red rocket". Oh crap....now I'm sure I won't here the end of this.

Beefcake-
See what honesty will get you? Methinks thou hast opened the proverbial "can o' worms". Regardless of the reason, I could see Red Rocket...it fits---big, fast & red.
And Musky...you should be ASHAMED of yourself! I mean really...the man was honest...and besides, you forgot to add "The Crimson Penetrator", fer gosh sakes, dontcha know...

I Have been calling her 'Marlene'. Marlene was my first serious chic that broke my heart when I was in Germany. I was in SOOOOOOOO MMMUUUUCCCCCHHHHHH in Love with Marlene. I was upset for at least a Whole month after she dumped me.
I figured the Bike and I will have a significant emotional relationship that will result in some kind of heart break for me.

Post edited by: JDoza, at: 2007/01/27 18:51
