I have the Yamaha rack. I found it especially useful before I got the bags. I have a small ( approx 10"x15" )cargo net that is made of bungee-type material with 6 rubber coated hooks. I would set my lunch (or whatever I was carrying) on the rack, use the net hooked from one fender to the other over top of the load, and I was good to go. Never lost anything, or even had anything shift under the cargo net.

Just ordered two fender racks for my saddal bag covers, For a 08 r*. A freind of mine has a o7 v-star 1100 custom fender rack that fits the o8 hard bags all but perfect. Should get them today. Maybe the little lady will hit the racks with her boot and not the hard bags. Ride Safe!!

I've been very pleased with the Yamaha rack. It looks good and sits close to the fender. I've attached a variety of bags to it - certainly one of the most practical accesories I've bought.

What is all that white covering your bike? I saw a report on the news about someone who built a SNOWMAN on the beach in Florida or Georgia this last week, now that sucks!!!

I like it! Those bends on the rear are a nice touch. Eliminate a few welds and get some style too.

So how's that rat rod coming along BB?
