I can't put my finger on it but, it just doesn't look right...
The radiator? tank? rear brake drum?

I thought the same thing. Something isn't right about the bike. I always thought all metric bikes didn't look right (lines, proportions, etc), until 1999 when the Road Star was released. The Road Star looks like it was designed in America not asia. The ONLY part on the Star that is out of whack are those bulbous side panels...but the lines still work and the attention to detail is fantastic. Not sure where the Fury is missing, but it looks TOO CLEAN and TOO proportioned. Its needs something to make a statement. I'm going to be interested to see how the aftermarked supports this bike - I expect huge support - then I might buy one as a second bike.

Come on guys, most of the work is already done for you. Cut that double backbone out, make it a single, and that tank would look ok with just a little more stretch. Then clean up the tail light/license area.
Instant cheap chopper, right out of the box! Sure would beat months on the table!

The black one looks nice. Simple design, but it kind of reminds me of the Honda Rebel they did back in the 80's. Not that it looks like it just that they might have missed thier target. When I saw that bike for the first time in print I thought that they had hit the nail on the head and then when I saw it in person and realized it was really a mini bike I just giggled and bought me the V65 1100 Shaft Drive Magna and went about racking up as many points on my Florida license as the state would hand out and still let me drive.

I think it lacks personality...but I am most intrested in the sound..I noticed that hondas have a very distict sound, whether it a Z50 or a cruiser. They seem to have a heavy breathing sound...Buddy had a 1100 sabre and could't stand the sound..First tryed changeing the pipes to V&H, then bought a Road*
I like the Raider better.

Never one to lack an opinion on just about anything... I think the lines and the proportions just aren't right. It's obviously an American chopper as viewed and copied through Japanese eyes... the result is a relatively poor imitation.

How they ever got the R* right, is beyond me, but I don't care... they did, and I own one!!!

The fury is kinda cool. I like looking at nearly any kind of motorcycle, and I appreciate the design and engineering that goes into these machines..Lok at the Can-Am Spyder.....but I'm going to own a bike that I can ride and ride and ride.... like...maybe a Roadie?
