Just a pretty paint job and a seat with tassels won't cut it, that bike has to be solid Indian! Not a lot of riders will have that sort of money to spend on a fake! Remember what happened to HD when it sold out to AMF? It wasnt the purchase by AMF that ran everyone off. And the comany is not proven..Seems like they are selling limited numbers to collectors and know they will never be mainstream bikes. As a rider who once owned a real Indian, those aren't Indian Motorcycles. Harley gets away with higher pricing because it's the outer edge of what the market will bear. Indian's pricing doesn't bode well for the longevity of the company. I wouldn't buy one even if I could afford one, because of the lack of available spare parts.
