Midwest RSC Get Together 5 Years, 3 Months ago
I would be willing to put together a Midwest RSC Ride (since I fit the category) For starters I would need members (and non members) to respond to this post so we can get an idea of the numbers and locations to find a common meeting point that would make for a good ride and a place to bash. Interested parties? I am in the Detroit area and there are a lot of great campgrounds and parks in MI...

My geography is not all that great but I don't think Michigan is midwest. I was thinking basically that Mountain time zone is.

Everything you were pretty sure you could have went through life just fine not knowing:

The Midwestern United States (or Midwest) refers to the north-central states of the United States of America, specifically Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Both the geographic center of the contiguous U.S. (in Kansas) and the population center of the U.S. (now in Missouri) are in the Midwest. The United States Census Bureau divides this region into the East North Central States (essentially the Great Lakes States); and the West North Central States (essentially the Great Plains States).

The term Midwest has been in common use for over 100 years. Other designations for the region have fallen into disuse, such as the "Northwest" or "Old Northwest" (from Northwest Territory), "Mid-America," or "Heartland". Since the book Middletown appeared in 1929, sociologists have often used Midwestern cities, and the Midwest generally, as "typical" of the entire nation

Hey JJ

Sounds good. I can't commit till it gets closer to whatever time it would happen. Too many variables going on from my end right now.
