Kuryakyn taillight question? 3 Years, 2 Months ago
I know many aftermarket tombstone tailights do not fit the contour of our fenders.

Who has installed a kuryakyn tombstone and most importantly, do they lay flat?

Thanks!

No one makes a tail light that lays flat with the fender. If you want a flush instalation then you have to cut a hole inn the fender and weld/braze/solder a box behind that hole. The light unit will go into the box and the lens will be flush with the fender.

I bought one off ebay a while ago with led turn signals. I think the tail light was aftermarket HD with the Kuryakyn turn signals added. I filled one of the holes on my fender and lowered it some so it fit better, then tightened the s*&t out of it. Mine is a 2000 and there is a pic on my profile.

Mr Cancilla one more thing if your thinking of putting one on are the two holes for your tail light wires on your new fender plugged if not you will have to use two chrome plugs to plug them you can see half the holes when installed.
Hellriser's is in Soquel right off of HWY 1 south of Santa Cruz

So other than the two holes, the tombstone will fit on an 04?
