the dyno shows how strong your bike is @ the current carb settings.by this i mean rich or lean and you want the best settings for mpg and performance.I bought an 07 1700 with the hypercharger and staggard shortshots already installed on the bike by the same dealer.although the bike ran somewhat ok my mpg was crap and backfiring on down throttle.I found that the bike was never jetted (thanks Musky) because they (kury) wants that big 182 main jet to stay with the v&h shortshot.well i got all the advise i could from this awsom site and started into the jetting process.it does take some time but its well worth doing it yourself as you are discovering what the dealer gives you.as for the dyno, pipes and pro r install,if you did'nt have a jet kit already in the carb or they didn't get one with the charger they would have made you buy one becuase you need the adjustable needle and clip to fine tune the mixtures in the dyno process.if they did have one for the charger and installed it you should be able to figure out what jets are in the bike by whats not there and whats left over thats if they gave you your parts back.I would start there before you bring her back because you will know if they did any changes on your next stealer trip.
