New Freedom Duals 3 Years, 3 Months ago
After much research and talking with Chris and Brian at No Pork (who were extremely helpful), I decided to take the plunge and I ordered a set of the Freedom Performance Slash Cut Duals
They look pretty much like the Star Cap, but different (slanted) pipe ends. Now I'm in "I can't WAIT" mode

GOOD call. My Saddlemen saddlebags (pictured in my sig pic) tore on the backing by the bracket on my ride to Sturgis last year. So, money willing, the wife says she might get me some new ones for my birthday in a few months. They look so much better when lowered a little.

So, on the Freedoms, you did the Sharktails, right? I'd love to see some pics of your bike!

Good choice, I've been looking at freedom duels for quite some time, still can't decide, I like them but I also like a style of pipes on one side of the bike, like the Hardkrome style in your pic. Thats what I got, but its time for a change, cuz they are loud and need re-chromeing anyway.

Keep us posted, I kinda like the 3" or 3 1/2", forgot, but the big cans, just a bit more $ ...

Yeah, Brian at No Pork said the 3.5" Cans were "noticeably LOUDER" than my DGs. Not that that's a bad thing... He said the Star Cap/Slash Cut would be more similar in loudness to my DGs, but tone more similar to the V&H Long Shots.

UPS delivered them late yesterday and I'm all set up to install them today. Not even on the bike yet, and first impressions are they look top-quality. The billet ends really add a nice touch and feel to them.

I picked up new exhaust gaskets from Yami, any other suggestions on things I might look out for while working on it?

I been drooling over the Sharktail ones for quite awhile now. Just cant seem to free up the cash LOL. Im thinking they would look pretty wicked on my bike but I absolutely love the sound of the Ripsaws I have now. Would be interested in hearing your slashcuts. Hell dude, I live less than 10 miles from ya!
