So, how did you go about ordering them? There metric website is a little scarse. Thanks,

I ordered them from Brian and Chris at No Pork, here's a link to nopork.com online store. They didn't have the slash cuts listed on their site, but I just told them I wanted the slash cuts and they hooked me up.

Re:New Freedom Duals 3 Years, 2 Months ago
I've got mine SharkTails a week ago. Brian at Nopork really helped me a lot. I have still winter here in Europe so I can't really tell how they sound outside but in a garage the sound is like earthquake.
I think they are a little bit louder than V&H Longshots. The only thing that I don't like is the access to side covers (actually no access) on the left side and that the heat shields are not the whole length of the pipe. Hope that the heat coming from back cylinder pipe will not have impact on the cover painting and cables and etc. which are under the cover. Any experience with that?

Are they a quite rumble at idle? Can you order different baffles?

to the best of my knowledge, i've got the standard baffles. NICE LOW RUMBLE AT IDLE. even the old ladies in my neighborhood say they sound good & not to loud.

I'll second that, the tone at idle and generally cruising at lower speeds is a NICE LOW RUMBLE. These pipes really only get loud when you get on it. But, even then, the tone is low and full. I'm thrilled with it... sounds so much more meaty than my DGs. They barked like no other pipes I've heard, but didn't have the deep tone like these Freedoms do.

My understanding on the "quiet" baffles you can get for the Freedoms is that they REALLY quiet it down. Not sure that would be good, IMHO. Out-of-the-box, with the standard pipes, the Freedoms are great.
