Some people forget that if they didn't start out as an existing, rode it home " or at least some one rode it at some time " bike and then chopped it or bobbed it. Then its not a chopper or bobber, it's a custom. I totally agree that a custom is not a true chopper. Chopper does not mean a bike with a raked front end excusively. I believe it's just a bike that has had parts "chopped" off of it. Everything else is just expression. A bobber on the other hand and to my understanding is just a bike that has had it's fenders bobbed or outright removed. Want to see a good chopper video?
