chrome shifter 3 Years, 2 Months ago  
I was look at changing out my heal/toe shifter with the chrome single arm one on the yamaha site but it says it only fits 99-05 does anyone know if it will fit an 07 as well? I know sometimes these parts will work but not always

In 06 they went to the 2 piece shifter. Before that it was a one piece. Different set ups. You might be able to make it work by getting other parts but it's not a direct swap.

I know they went to a 2 peice, but all that was for so people could remove the heal part if they chose to, and I have already done that and it doesn't chance the functionality at all, so I'm thinking it will work I was just looking to see if any one had done it. It's a bit of money to blow if it doesn't fit

in the 2009 Star catalog there is a billet single shifter that is for the 07-09 R* It's not on the star website though.

I picked mine up every year at the IMS show in Long Beach at the Yamaha booth. Your local dealer should have at least one copy. I have 2007,2008,2009 great bathroom drooling
