I am one of those you don't understand. I bought a new 2006 in May 2007. So far I have 680 miles on it. I work outlandish hours and have been trying to remodel a 100 year old farm house. Plus I have a wife that doesn't support me having a bike. Hopefully things will be better this year.

I've had mine for eight months and have 8500 miles on it. Just changed oil for the third time and purchased a new rear tire. I love riding and can't wait for the daylight hours to get longer.

Bought my '04 in Aug of '07 from a motor officer in NC. It had just 1280 miles on it. He thought he'd like riding in his off time, but soon found that being in the saddle all day on his police bike was plenty enough.

I don't have an office to ride into and also have the wife and kid thing going on, but I've managed to break 10,000 since bringing it home. Hoping to put a great many miles on her this summer.

Bought my 2000 MM last fall with a scant 2700 miles on it. That's roughly 337 miles per year. Fortunately in the month and a half of riding I had before winter set in I was able to rack up over 1500 miles so she isn't being neglected anymore.

Bought mine in late 2004, rode 350km/217miles home. Now at 36000km/22369miles. Not riding much at the moment because it is summer. WHAT! you say. It gets too hot, sunburn, sweating, 40 degrees C + (thats 100+ in American) Got to head out by 7am and be back by 10 am. Can't wait for winter

I traded in an 08 Suzuki that I bought early last year, I put 2500mile on it, then got the 07 Road* late in the year, and have been able to put 2500 on it before putting it up for the winter. I hope to put close to 10K on it this year.

Bought my '01 in July of '07 for $4,600... mileage? 3,100! I couldn't believe my good fortune! I've tripled that number since.
