I picked up a bottle of this at the hardware store and tried it on the chrome on the bike. Wow! Works great! Used to use this on shinning up brass when I was in the army and forgot about it.

I'd be careful using Brasso on Chrome. If I remember right
It's highly abrasive and could scratch the chrome right off.
The brass you used it on in the Army ( buckles ect ) was
solid brass so you couldn't tell how much it took off the
surface.
