I was interested in putting these on but had a concern that they would hit factory Yamaha crash bars. The 3 inches come real close. Cant tell from the pic. Platinum Boarder Posts: 7083 Re:Question about "Ghost Brackets" 3 Years, 2 Months ago   Put my Ghost brackets on today, a couple of cuts and scraps from the brackets, but it went well, and now I have easy to install and remove saddlebags! Just a quick tip, some mentioned that they will rattle a little when you hit a bump and if they are empty or almost empty. I adjusted mine so that I have to start the forward one before the aft one will line up, it makes it much tighter and no rattling. Remember with the Ghost Brackets you get to mount them where every you want them to be. Your going to set the bag up and make sure its level and move them forward or aft depending on where you want before drilling the holes and mounting the brackets. I would not think that three inches would be a big deal but you get to check that first.
