Barons BAK 3 Years, 2 Months ago  
I have a 07 and thinking about getting a barons bak. can anyone tell me what this will do for my bike.and do i need to switch the manifold also.

Nothing if you keep the stock pipes.

You don't need to switch manifolds but porting the stock one is very helpful to improve flow characteristics.

I have BAK with V&H pipes, no porting. The BAK made a noticeable difference to me. In hindsight, I would probably have ported at the same time. But, very happy with the performance after the BAK. Mine is 1600.

It's a big cash outlay but if you can the BAK, Pipes, and Porting will give you a real kick in the butt. But you can always do like I do and shop e-bay for good cheap used or even the guy here.
