Oh yeah

Edit: You know. After going back through it I think it was Doc you took the first shot in this war.

Post edited by: Musky, at: 2007/02/13 12:18

Nope. It was at "10 white bikes" and then another member posted that they had a White bike too so it's now at "11 white bikes and counting" for when others show up or join.

Hey Musky,

We need a more accurate count . Maybe Doc can add a line to everyone's profile where they can put the year and more importantly the color fo their R*. What do you think Doc?

Hey pman

I don't think the color wars are going to be part of the site Now, anyone can put the color of their bike in their post if they want to. Or someone with Black / Red bikes can add them up like I did. But in the end it's just for S**ts and giggles.

Good call roadkill. Musky, sometimes I am just curious as to where people are located and what their bikes look like. It amazes me that we all have roadstars, but they can look very different. On one of the threads, three guys found out they live only 30 miles apart. I guess just the color thing is not quite what I meant.

Hey pman

As far as I know the profile info is private so no one would see it anyway. Or are we talking about different things? A simple way to do it - People can do like I did on my pic. "2006 Silverado. Musky. Hopkins, MN.". Or coug signs his posts " ....Coug " If they don't want to put a pic up they can sign it with the home town, year and color. beefcake has a bunch of info as part of his sig. A sig doesn't have to contain a pic. It can be just words. So there's lots of options for puttin the info right here. Just have to figure out a way to let everyone know about this. Posts get buried before people see them.

It's be good to know if there were local RoadRiders, that would want to get together, pman.

Seems like most of the peopel posting are in TX, down south and the occasional Minnesotan... (kudos, Musky).

Anyone in northern WV, so. PA?

by the way, MUSKY, where'd you get the leather fork covers with the emblems? Really nice touch.

And, there is a solution for the black/white issue...

the fork covers are from here - http://www.chilhowee.net/yamaha-fork-covers/FC007.html

The gold & silver Eagle conchos are from - http://www.buywillieandmax.com/cat_conchos.cfm
I have the W&M sissybar bag and tool bag and they came with the same conchos on them so I just kept the theme going. It's all very Martha stewart
