painting your roadie 3 Years, 2 Months ago  
just wondering if anyone has painted there own bike and really looking for ideas on jigs they have made up to hold the parts being painted.i have some ideas but i am always looking for better and easier ways of doing things.thanks for your help. steve

Yes ... frame and tins.

No jig ... just used wire to hang the frame and small bits, and a wooden one legged horse thingy for the tins

thats what i was thinking.thanks.cant wait to get it done its been nice enough to ride and im workin on it.but it will be worth it when its done.

I've done some painting of my own. Darn you Doc always the big helper! I used wire and hung the parts from the ceiling, and I used a wooden saw horse for when I did the body work.
