Well I'm back at work in Malaysia for my 28 day rotation drilling for oil. Gotta jet kit and a dyna ignition waiting for me when I get back home early April, hopefully recall work will be done by that time. They said two weeks, but I've heard that before. Looking at repainting my bike. Looking at the prices, motorcycle paint seems pretty high priced compared to regular automotive paint. Factory black right now and looking to go with a dark purple possibly metal flake. Any reason I couldn't use ato paint instead? What do you guys think.

Figured there wasn't any difference except for price, but just wanted to make sure.

Doc is right, paint is paint.

House of Kolors on Ebay runs about $60.00 per quart. You reduce it 2/1 (with Reducer),so you end up with 1-1/2 quarts. Enough to paint a bike like ours.

$60/qt US .... I won't tell you what I paid 5 years ago up here ....

I think I don't have enough left to redo both the frame and fender so thanks for the heads up on e-bay ... now I have a place to go for a better price. ... if I can steer clear of UPS.
