I laid the bike down. I just bought it this year, not new, new to me. My third day out. I made my friend go ahead, he didn't want to, but I insisted. This truck kept pushing up on me in the bends, I knew I should've pulled over and didn't. I came to bend, looked at him in my mirror, took the bend too fast, put my leg out (another thing I know not to do) hit the gaurd rail. I broke the bones in my right leg, tissue and skin damage. The Dr.'s gave me good news Tuesday, no skin grafts, yet and the bones are healing. One slower than the other, but, healing...

Thanks to Howie, I've found this site, lot's of good people!

You're welcome.

If you don't have a Photobucket account you should open one. It works best for storing your sig pic so you can link to it for your sig. Or you can use your own webspace if you have it.

Ok I read the thread HotelFox posted a while back, I HATE when people tailgate. Have hopped off bike at stop light a couple of times to "introduce" myself to the cager tailgating me but they haven't stuck around, wonder why.... Anywho, glad to hear you are on the mend. Think I am gonna have a patch made that says " WARNING: Tailgating a Biker can be hazzardous to YOUR health!"

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Probably most of us have had a similar experience. Mine was within the first week of riding many years ago. Anyway keep to dr's orders and get back to riding asap. Welcome to this site.
