Roadie

Thats the point

One.. there is no energy conserving label
Two... it will not state whether there is moly or teflon in it. no nutrition facts labels on oil container
Three... if it hasnt lowered zinc and phosphourous then it could not get a API rating SL or SM and would not be approved for car use

IS it approved for car USE???

AND all your years experience doesnt mean Dick beacuse the oil additive packages have only changed in the LAST FEW Years

Like "I woke up this morning and found there was no more Trans Fats in my potato
chips..."

Four.. you can still use whatever you want but the facts are hard to ignore and
if you think the oil companies are pullin yer leg then why is it that it is the CAR manufacturers as I have pointed out..that are the ones that are demanding the change for their warranties and it is the motorcycle manufacturers that are the ones that are demanding oil for their wet clutch and transmission gear/ engine shared oil bikes???

how is life treating ya musky:
i had just realized that i have anouther filter to add to your list. its atop notch brand with strong ties to cat dealers, the # is a baldwin b1400, they would cost around $8.00 if ya walked in to a cat dealer. i get mine at cost that is consiterably cheaper, a lot cheaper than at an automotive store. by the way are you still keeping on the bike condom? i havn't seen it in a while.

Hey dozer

8 bucks a pop huh Well I guess it's up to each rider to decide. Yup, the bike is still in it's wrapper. I predict I'll be able to ride on day 110.

Re:Your 2 cents 5 Years, 3 Months ago
Pop Rivet finally got to me with his posts about motorcycle specific, oil, yada yada yada. But I still can't bring myself to pay $8 a quart for oil. I found Valvoline 20w-50 motorcycle oil for $3.59 per at AutoZone. I can pay that. If you're really cheap mix motorcycle with auto oil at 3:1 or 2:1 ratio and you're still better off than straight auto oil but you're only saving a buck or two. I can handle 4 @ $3.59 = $14.36 versus 4 @ $8 = $32. So I change at 3 thousand versus 5 thousand. I can live with that.
