Often, unfortunately, wisdom comes with experience. Meanwhile, while you're surfing the net, check these out. I saw a lot of bikes converted to the wedgetail at Penrith over the past couple of weeks. They look good and appear to assist with balance, etc. Might help in easing back into riding until confidence returns. http://www.wedgetailoutriders.com.au/gallery1.htm Just a thought

Not so sure I have a toolbelt, I use my heels to pound nails in the walls for pictures. I have worked on motors before, a lonnnggg time ago trying to impress my ex... But, I do, (did) know how to ride. Apparently not that well since the accident. But, I'm sure I'll try again someday, a little wiser and a little more careful!

I commute daily and it never ceases to amaze me how many psychotic people are driving around and somehow manage to get on MY six (taht's right behind me if you're not military). The most dangerous part of my ride is the last 20 feet before I turn into the office parking lot. Nothing like hearing the sound of screeching brakes behind you...... guess that's why seats are made of leather.
