#178922 ride2escape (User) RIDE HARD BUT SAFE Expert Boarder Posts: 436 10 % ethenol---where are the reg gas staion?? 3 Years, 2 Months ago   Our roadies love the 85-87 octane--hard to find stations that don't have that sticker on the pump that says " may contain up to 10% ethanol". Maybe this post well let others know where to fuel up. This is an interesting site, but its going to tick you off. Its the reason you think your finding Ethanol free pumps... sorry.... I asked about it and found out it was because all the farmers in that area requested it for their farm equipment. It's about 16 cents a gallon more then the ethenol gas in the area. Just depends what station they are delivering to--as far as what additives go into it. So now I'm guessing that most fuel does have the ethenol in it--and yes you will get less MPG--and the cost of corn and all corn by-products is going up.
