Funny thing Musky, as I personally don't wear chaps. Seems the design has a built in flaw, leaves the most sensitive parts of a man out in the open to catch frostbite!!

I've noticed that also. I never wear chaps when it gets cold.

In fact I hardly wear them at all.

Do you guys sit on top of your tanks or something. I don't have that problem with chaps.

No tank-sitter here.

I guess some of us are more 'endowed' than others.

Shorty in the summer, full face the rest of the time. Both are White of course because white helmets are faster.

Are the MN Rats DOT approved?

As far as the privates getting frostbite while wearing chaps - that is what Chapstick is for.

Or - "Is that a Chapstick in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

I wear a helmet 100% of the time. Full face when it's cooler (less than 45) and half helmet all other times. I've been saved by a helmet and recommend them but still think helmet laws suck. I feel it should be every biker's choice to wear one or not.

Bandana most of the time riding the local back roads...1/2 helmet in the summer when travelling the highways (always have it with me) and a full face when temps drop below 45&deg

PA went rider choice 09-04-04 as it should be

3/4 helmet in the summer, full face in the winter. Also wear chaps in cool weather, but break out the Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0 pants and jacket in cold weather with a Gerbing heated jacket and heated gloves.

Half helmet 100% of the time. Gloss white for increased visibility with black trim to match the bike . Using a windshield I need only sunglasses(yellow lenses at night).
