feels like a cruiser 3 Years, 1 Month ago
I installed a set of phat risers last night and road all morning.
The stock risers always had me stretched out and slightly leaning forward. These new ones have me sitting back relaxed and using the back rest.
It feels like a cruiser now instead of a sport bike.

I know what you mean. Since installing the Pro-Ones I'm not reaching any more.

Hey SW, I was looking at the Phat risers as well, they look great. Glad to hear they do what they're supposed to do. I think I'm going with the Yami low smooth risers, just about the same price. OH WHAT A RELIEF IT IS...no more shoulder cramps days after the ride.

Do they work with all stock cables, wiring and hoses? Inquiring minds want to know!

Hey Questcap
Yes my new phat risers worked with all stock hoses and cables.....The directions said that the Roadstar has the shortest brake hoses compared to the vstar. If it isn,t long enough, directions say to lift the bikes front taking all load of the forks and to remove top of triple tree and reroute the brake hose behind the triple tree.
I had my front end already lifted in case the brake hose did not reach.....but it did just fine.
I had all of 35 minutes from start to finish involved in the installation.
