Yup, that was me...but that americanmototire.com site you mentioned (JJ) would have been about $8 cheaper, if I figured correctly. They may charge about $14 shipping, but the front tire price was less than at Eastern Performance Cycle (the link I posted). It's a wash...as long as whoever you buy them from is reputable and dependable!

Do you guys put the tires on yourselves at home or take them to the stealer? Any special tools required? Does the stealer have an issue with you buying the tires somewhere else?

Putting them on is easy ... taking them off is a bitch.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm riding my bike (when it has things like handlebars & floorboards again) to a dealer and have them put them on. Not something I care to tackle in my lil' garage... The one in Taos actually has a good reputation for quality service AND customer service...go figure.

As far as tires go ask around where you live who does the best job cause some will scratch the chit out of your rims ......Coug

Yep sure do no wonder I got such a good price $235 no shipping. Well maybe they weren't in the same batch as the guy on RSR got. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

They have a nice profile and look about them.price is fair
