Same here. The wife & I are 450+. Never scraped. However, rear tire pressure at 41# really makes a difference. Progressive spring & longer dogbones are on the wish list though. Say...could older spring/shock packages be loosing their spring rate? Getting softer over time? Would be interesting to put one of those springs that are scraping on a spring rate tester. Anybody work in a Nascar shop?

dayum! its a roadstar, not an R1. I drag floorboards all the time but never the frame. stiffer spring and slow down are my only advice.

I'm 320 and once I switched the boards to forwards (a really good move for you aggressive riders) , I only drug(?) the pipe. I ride mountain roads aggressively , ride "spiritedly" regularly. Just a thought. BB

Yep!Draggin' your behind is a "feature" of aggressive driving (and two up...) frame lowering...

Uh, you guys mean to say you're not supposed to drag the floorboards...?

I see absolutely no problems dragging floorboards (I do it daily and often), but dragging frame is a completely different matter...if you push the frame enough, either it will break, or the rear tire will come off the ground, and when it comes back onto the ground, it usually ends with the rider no longer riding the motorcycle...board dragging is good, frame dragging bad.

Check if any suspension (spring) adjustment left. Otherwise, you can get a HD spring from Barons

I heard it said, If you ain't dragging the boards, you ain't ridin'!

But I've never heard of dragging the frame!

I'm 185, typically ride solo, but the wife's only 105, and I won't drag the boards with her aboard. I don't want to hear about it afterwards!

Draggin the boards? Hell ha! All the time. Especially with the wife on board.

It has a lot to do with your riding style. I made one small change and a lot less scraping of the bike. Slide your inside buttcheek off the seat and drag your inside knee.

WHAT?

Yah I know... maybe I need to get a Warrior.
