Always been partial to Ness' work. Some of the CNC'd wheelsets on his bikes have made my eyes pop out.

klockwerks...seem to build bikes you can ride anywhere. They are not into any particular style.

For me my bike was inspired by Russ Mitchell, Hank Young and most of all after bouncing ideas off of Ron Finch, I really knew the direction I wanted to go, He said " Do something that will make it stand out in a sea of bikes."

Chica Custom Cycles out of Huntington Beach, CA. Attitude, art, and his bikes look like machines, rather than like new age space ships. http://www.chicacustom.com/bikes.htm

His "Brass Knuckle" and "Von Dutch" are two of my favorites. Kind of old school and kind of out there, but the detail is awesome.

How did you attach your rear fender? I'm in the process of bobbing my R* and I'm trying to avoid missteps.
