Hey guys i Really appreciate all your help this is my first posting and did not know what to expect with the responses and I am more than impressed. After calling around and looking for the extensions they are ranging from 50 to 60 bucks and I keep hearing from more than multiple people that to do it your self it takes a little more time but its going to save you the time.

The one problem is only having the one color but i can just cut it in the middle and have the color at both ends. One more question I'll Find out by taking it apart but do you guys know the stock wire gauge for the harness I'm Guessing 18 but not sure.

And for the clutch, brake and throttle cable I have been getting numerous quotes for about 40 bucks a cable, which everyone is telling me is pretty good. If you don't think so maybe you can steer me in the right direction.

Also i heard you can download the owners manual somewhere does any one know the address?

And thanks again guys, Im excited to be apart of the Road Star Clinic

be careful with splicing higher up...staggering the splices helps but splices are thicker usually than the wires so you can run outta room pretty quick, and i assume you are decent with a soldering iron but soldered joints can certainly come undone and if they are up in your bars can be a big pain in the A to fix that

Check with Clifford on here. He sells at cost + 10% to clinic members. You can do a search for his info

The best thing i have found is not to rely on what is out there but to find some one who is good at making them and build a set of bars that Taylor to your riding style and your comfort zone when riding I had a friend of mine who is a custom bike builder in Orange County Calif build me a set of 6 angle pullbacks that are similar to a set of t bars but much more radical, it took 2 days to build them and a lot of on and off the bike until they were right but the ride is great now and i don't get tired any more

Hey Bro... go with no less than the 1 1/4 x 16's Apes and cables from Clifford or Baron's cables which are the extra length needed for the 16in. height. The 1 1/4 dia. Apes accent the front forks for that beefed up look! or you could be the Gorilla King in your area.... and go for the 1.5 Bufflo bars for that beefer look. Make sure the hand grip area keeps your wrist parallel with your forearm especially on those long rides as this has a tendency to rack on the wrists from long rides also the 16'S ease the traps muscles from aching after those long rides too! I myself have baron's DTR pullback risers which I had purchased from before with the stock handle bars I changed out to the mini-apes 1 1/4 dia x 14in. bars which gives me 20in. off the top tree to the top of the Kury-akyn Iso Grips [end grip to end grip measures 39 in. wide]. and clean mount with a quarter inch of the knurling showing either inside of risers also used the stock wiring harness added 3 in. of shrink tubing to cover bare area that was stuffed in the headlight. It looks clean, But in the winter I will run the wiring inside the bars to really clean it up! my height is 6 ft.4in. 262pds

Rock on Dude!

Also if you see that I only have 40 post at this time of being here for over a year it is because the bike does not sit for more than a day or so, Why so.... cause I ride it and I ride it like I stole it... we ride them like there suppose to be ridden and when I dont' ride it for a week or so... although, this does not happen much here in the Pacific Northwest as you see here it is in my den getting a wax job and a polish!
