I live in the White Mtns of NH can't walk outside without tripping on a sled.

I see the screws on the pump (the ones that need to be replaced). The internal rubber parts, can they cook? is that why we want to replace the screws to open the vacuum pump? doen't sound like they wear out too quick.

Wow, the pump you installed is half the size of the one in the article yours is 14 ltrs/hour vrs. 31 ltrs/hour thats why you mentioned its was back ordered? and it doesn't sound like the 31 L/PH is needed. Is the vacuum pump expensive?

I really hate to take off that dam manifold again and have to re-seal it. I think I can drill a hole with rags and vasaline stuffed inside it, after all the manifold is aluminum if a small piece did enter.
