Platinum Boarder Posts: 1705 Re:Mr. Stebel 3 Years ago   One bit of advice on the Stebel install... and I know most of us wouldn't do this, but... mount the relay with the terminals pointing DOWN. The PO of my Venture had installed a Stebel on it and it never sounded as loud as I expected it to. Saturday I was washing the bike and hit the horn button and all I heard was a mouse break wind. It was the stock horn; nothing from the Stebel. It seems the PO had mounted the relay upside down and it was full of water and totally corroded. $6 relay and a few minutes and all was good. FYI, don't test your horn by holding it a foot away facing you. It's painful. Now a question... what size are the front downtubes on the Roadie?
