Engine gaurds? 5 Years, 2 Months ago
Hello all.... I need some "bars" on the bike.... Does anybody have any ideas.. I am leaning to the Lindy Bars. If anybody has pics of any bars on a Midnight Siverado that might help out some... Anything to look out for to would help. Thanks in advance.

If you have or are planning on getting floorboard ext's you have the choice of the Yamaha big Bar or the Road King bar.

I'm looking to put some on mine too. No I'm not getting into customizing, this is engine protection.

Mine are Baron's. They are more than engine bars they saved my leg and my bike.

I doubt that I would put the extensions on. But since I only have 50 miles on her I guess I won't know till I ride it some more.

One thing about the Linby bars is the footrests look cool but unless they match exactly where you want your feet to be it's only looks. I've read of quite a few people who have bought bolt on footrests for them to be comfortable. You can do that with any bar. Not trying to talk you out of them. Just something to think about. Then again if the looks are what you like about them you're all set.

I have lindby bars and like the look and comfort. I get a lot of compliments on them. It is nice to have a couple of options for your feet on the long rides. I'm 5'11" and have no problem using the foot rest area lindby provides. I am also able to stretch out my legs placing my heels on top of the bar as well, in the full recline mode! No need to spend extra on highway pegs. The only draw back I have noticed is the insides of my legs rub against the tank. I might buy a mini tank cover to fix that.

I just read over in the delphi forum that if you have a hypercharger it really affects them. I might just have to get the Yammi's??????????????
