I was never that lucky, stepfather burned my sisters leg on an old yamaha dirt bike (late 70's) riding her on the tank, MOM said "NO BIKES". So my bikes have all come since I was out on my own.

Re:What bikes have you owned? 5 Years, 2 Months ago
It all began in the Fall of 1972 with a
73 Yamaha RD350
72 Yamaha 175 Enduro
75 Yamaha 750
61 Harley Duo Glide
57 Harley Hydro Glide.....and ends, so far, with
04 Road Star
Wish I had them all still. The RD was a true giant killer. It was fun embarassing 650s and even a 900 sportster. There was a twenty five year gap between the last harley and the Road Star and I missed them for all those years but the Road Star has made up for that in spades. Last year a fatboy riding friend of mine asked me when I was going to get another Harley and I replied, "would you trade down to a smaller motorcycle?" and he just grunted. Now he's talking about trading up to a newer 96 inch HD. That's almost as big as a Road Star.

there was a period of off road 4wd trucks

1970 something Yamaha 60, blow it up and replaced it with a 80 engine.
2005 Yamaha 650 silverado
2003 RoadStar

Although I haven't owned alot of bikes my best friend growing up always had several dirt bikes. He got a new bike almost every year so I rode his old ones.

I have always been a yamaha fan. And when I decided to get a street bike it was what I bought. When you ride the best to start with you don't have to weed out the bad ones....
