I was never that lucky, stepfather burned my sisters leg on an old yamaha dirt bike (late 70's) riding her on the tank, MOM said &quot;NO BIKES&quot;. The RD was a true giant killer. It was fun embarassing 650s and even a 900 sportster. There was a twenty five year gap between the last harley and the Road Star and I missed them for all those years but the Road Star has made up for that in spades. Last year a fatboy riding friend of mine asked me when I was going to get another Harley and I replied, &quot;would you trade down to a smaller motorcycle?&quot; and he just grunted. Now he's talking about trading up to a newer 96 inch HD. He got a new bike almost every year so I rode his old ones. I have always been a yamaha fan. And when I decided to get a street bike it was what I bought.
