My front end is up about 1.5" over stock at the front pegs ..... my pegs and peg mounts are ground down. It's not hard to lean the bike over enough to grind things.

As long as the frame doesn't touch you're OK. ... and touching down the peg mounts is not a good idea.

I rarely scrape. Actually, its been probably 2 years. My bike is stock height and that scraping thing scares the crap outa me. So some one's put almost 50K miles on my bike and I thought it was me, but I guess not since you say if you ain't scraping you ain't riding.

For me the scraping is the only downside to the Roadhouse Duals...and I'm talking scraping the pipes not the boards. But you can't get the long, low look without having the pipes where they are. Like others have said, I just need to corner a bit more shallow and take it easy.

I don't know how much you weigh, but you may want to adjust your shock/spring to get her up a little if you don't want to scrape AND take it easy cornering.

I do hit occasionally and believe that most times it is because my spring tension adjuster is set low and my shock is worn.

(I'm waiting for my new 420 Series Progressive shock with spring and think it will make a great impact on my ride. )
