I Was This Close!!! 3 Years ago
I was all set to buy Win's 2005 Roadie that he has listed in the classifieds. I went to the bank at lunch yesterday and closed the loan, I had a trailer reserved and was all set to drive from Dallas to Jackson to pick it up. At 3:30, I got called to the bosses office and was laid off. I had to take the check back and cancel the trailer. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!

Now, instead of working on really cool machines, I'm helping my brother strip wallpaper. I HATE wallpaper!

That's how close I was to getting my very own Roadie. Damn.

Peace,
Joe

Hope you get back on your feet soon.

Good luck.

I think God had his hand on that deal. Kept you from losing the bike and having bad credit.

Been retired for two years now. Keep thinking about going back to work but I retired from the auto industry and will turn 60 in four months. Not many jobs out there for an old car guy these days.

Sorry to hear about that Joe. I know it is a huge disappointment for you right now, but my guess is you will wind up with a better job, making more money than you were, and riding a better Roadie than the one you were going to buy. Have some patience and it will come. Look at it as an opportunity to better yourself. I know it is hard to do, but every single job I have lost, I found a better one making more money. I am confident that will happen to you too. Hang in there partner, you will overcome and prosper out of this.
