I'm glad I have a 1999 Silverado--and yea--I agree with most posts here--just trying to raise capital in the state of California. I'm surprised they don't have red light cameras and speed cameras all over the place--another $$$ generating idea--speed cameras---people slow down when they see the white lines in the road and the big boxes on the side of the road---then just speed back up--not a safety thing---a $$ generating thing Ronnie in MD VROOM VROOM
ride2escape what makes you think we don't have them....LOL. We did but I think it was a invasion of privacy thing and I haven't heard of them in quit sometime

Give it to the Californian idiot politions to screw it up for the rest! At the rate they're going, we'll all need to put smog equipment on the backside of all our jeans too. If they want to cut down on all the gasses being put into the atmosphere, maybe they should look at outlawing all the Taco Bells there. Gesssss, what morons!

I live in AZ and you have to smog your bike every year after 5 years old. They do that with cars as well.

Had a friend just do it on his '80 1100. He got one of the $7 / hr kids who ran it through as a 2 cycle. That bike wasn't anywhere near 1/4 what the limit was!
