Oh damn! I think I just pissed myself reading this stuff! I know for a fact everyone here has done something as crazy and as stupid as the next guy or gal... I know I have, but I will save my most embarrassing moments for future use...

Yeah, when I told my brother what I did he said, "And you admitted it???". Ok, ok... I didn't tell the WHOLE story... truthfully, I had three cans sitting there. The first I grabbed was WD-40 ... maybe that's why the paint cleaned of so easy.

Man I been working on motors 40 plus years and never thought of painting the inside of my carb! Genius! How many coats of clear did you use?

I did the same thing the other day.Except it was furniture polish instead of pan cooking oil.Didn't eat those eggs.
