I agree wholeheartedly with Musky on this, the dipstick is a waste of time, ignore it if you araen't burning oil or leaking it between changes. I just add 4 liters after draining both oil tank and crankcase/replacing filter.
I think Yami put in a dipstick only to avoid calls from owners asking "why there's no dipstick?"

It's also under the seat, out of the way!
