THe other day, Wednesday it was around 80 degrees here and I decided to ride up to my sister hose which is around 200 miles away. Well after about 100 miles I ended up on Hwy 62 in Henderson AR and just happened to see a Yamaha Dealership. When on trips I usually stop every 100 miles or so for a short rest brake at a gas station or a bike shop which ever I see and feel like. I stopped at the Yamaha dealership and went iside and looked around for about ten minutes or so. I left the inside and when I stepped out I just happened to see a 2008 Royal Star Tour Deluxe sitting on the sidewalk. I walked up and check out the bike, it had 2 miles on it and was Blue and black. Just then a sales rep walked out and I asked how much. He said 12,300. I said nice bike and I would think about it. I then resumed my trip and went to my sisters hose and stayed overnight and then return home the next day by a different route. From wednesday to friday my right side of the brain and left side of the brain had a big agruement over the Royal Star, I will be damned my right side of the brain won out around 5.30 friday night and i called the delaership up and asked if they had a 2008 Royal Star and the sales rep said they still did. Long story short, I have a 2005 Road Star with 16,000 miles and a brand new Royal Star Tour Deluxe with 101 miles.. Logic and reasoning be damned to a Roadie

Congrats.

Now comes the hard part .... which side of the brain is going to win when you want to ride. You could be getting many headaches as they fight it out.

Congrats! If I did that my wife would A) skin me alive, or Take a very near and dear part of me to hang on her cage mirror or C) have me teach her how to ride her new bike. To me it's a no brainer.

As much as I like my Roadie... I like my Royal Star Venture just as much. It's just a different experience. You'll enjoy whichever you happen to ride.
