#199259 Zim (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 60 do the FI R* put out more engine heat 2 Years, 8 Months ago   I have test ridden several different makes of bikes lately (All FI) about the same size engine (around 1700). The thing I noticed right away is the amount of heat coming up from the engine. Above 90 degrees (ambient temp) and this becomes almost unbearable. I have not found a Yami dealer that will let me test ride any of there new bikes longer than about 5 miles. cant tell much from that. So my question is does the R* FI model have a lot more heat coming up from the engine than the carb model?
