Slip-ons 5 Years, 2 Months ago
Put on a set of Roadhouse brand 65 special slip-ons last thurs. -15, took 10 minutes and they look awesome. Started it up on friday, took a bit as the clutch was stiff. The sound is very throaty, you can definately differentiate the twin cylinders, once it is warm it really comes alive when you give it some throttle. Went for a quick ride saturday, cold but very responsive. I will post some more pictures as soon as I can. They have removable baffles and available tips too. Picked them up through Royal distributing in Guelph Ontario. Could have picked them up cheaper in the US but with the brokerage fees and shipping it usually works out higher.

Post edited by: Teeper, at: 2007/03/12 15:05

Teeper,
I've got an '05 Roadstar and am running the Roadhouse 65 Specials also. Great pipes and a great sound. Not too loud but a nice throaty rumble; have had many compliments on the sound. And unless it's my imagination, they did get a little louder as the baffles got some wear, if that's the right term.

Aaron

Teeper,
No, I don't have any pics posted yet. Am waiting for an opportunity to take some new ones since I've recently intalled an engine guard and highway pegs. And once I figure out how to post them.

Aaron
