I'm not starting mine up until I can ride.

Otherwise I'd be just teasing myself.

I put my new risers on and took a spin around the neighborhood, too dang cold to go any further. Yesterday it actually snowed and three days ago it was 82 and I went ridin in a t shirt!

The risers make a huge difference, I was pleasantly shocked.

Man I'm jealous Still buried in snow here. Roadie's still packed away. I gotta agree with Doc, though. Just can't fire it up 'til I can take it somewhere.

RoadieFF,

Been thinking about going with some new risers too. Which ones did you go with, how much rise/pullback? Any trouble with stock cable/wire lengths? I'm probably going to wait and see how much difference my new Mustang seat (enroute ) makes before making any decision about risers. Then again, if things don't start warming up halfway decent around here, it's not going to matter much.

Did I mention that I've already been riding this year. Must suck if you guys haven't even started your bikes yet

Oh yeah. I forgot to say "Sorry. Couldn't resist".

By this time last year, I was riding! Temps were in the 60's and roads were clear of ice and sand. Right now, it's 36, snow everywhere, and roads are covered with sand and slush!!
