and now the lardmobile (2001 roadie)
as you can probably tell by the communist bloc in the middle, i had a few years with very little cash (bad employment situation in the u.k. and a knackered economy). better a cheap hack than no wheels at all

Just reading the descripts of bikes you owned told me you were from the other side of the pond.Cool rides from My viewpoint.

Besides that mini bike I repeatedly crashed as a kid????
A 1980 Yamaha XS 850 Special that I ran up to 52k miles w/o any problems (besides regular maintenance stuff). A very unique sound. The exact same bike as an XS 1100 Special minus one cylinder. Duel exhaust with a 2 to 1 and a 1 to 1 ... drilled out of course. 
A 2001 YamaHawg Road Kill Midnight Star. After that 850 Special, I knew I couldn't go wrong with this bike. |

the `lardmobile´ title is a term of endearment for the biggest, heaviest bike i´ve ever owned.
it´s the first bike i´ve had since `79 that i´ve had no thoughts whatso ever about trading in for another machine.
this one´s a keeper!
