It comes with a jet kit also. The guy I talked to seemed like he knew what he was talking about.

I was on Baron's web site this morning, and they have a sale going on. You get 12% off all retail sales. I ordered a Big Air Kit. The sale knocked $35.99 off, I got it for $263.96. They also are including the rain covers with them now. I can't wait till it gets here.

Good choice The BAK comes with everything you need to get the job done. You won't have to hunt down anything because you found out you don't have something you need in the middle of the job.
One thing to watch for is the glue that hold the rubber boot on the BAK. They used to use some pretty crappy glue (might have fixed it since I got mine) and if it doesn't hold you will have an air leak. I took mine apart, cleaned off the old glue, and used hi temp silicone. Then I wrapped a zip tie around it. No air leaks are going to happen there now.

I have the same kit, be sure to install the new needle not just the jet. You will need a smaller jet because the new needle lets more gas through. You will like the additional pep.

The kit still has the glue problem. Mine came off today and used your idea of the high temp silicone. The silicone had a warning not to use with items that come into contact with gasoline. Have you had any issues with the silicone and gas from the carb? I think if I did it again I would not buy the BAK kit and would get a different kit similar to Thunder Mfg.
You used the wrong silicone then. You need one that is gas resistant. But I didn't smear the silicone on the flange that the boot slides over. I put a bead of it around the base of the flange and then pushed the boot down tight on the bead to make a good seal. Then I put a zip tie around it to hold it in place so it wouldn't ever move and break the seal. With the zip tie I don't think any gas would get to the silicone anyway.

What silicone did you use? I used the Red and did put it on the flange and even put int around the rim on top of the flange for a better seal. I have the Blue but it is not high temp. I went to the car stores and all the high temp silicones that they had were not gas resistant. Do you think the silicone will fall apart and get into the carb?
