I don't now anyting about engines and this may sound stupid but I sure as hell would have never thought that the intake would have had enough force to pull the nut into the motor! but then when you think about it a M6 nut doesn't weight that much Is the intake manifold rubber or cast could it have cracked ot going into the engine ? If yours wasn't ported and ground down to the metal on the inside, the nut only bounced off rubber and you have nothing to worry about as far as the intake manifold is concerned. It will require the top of the offending cylinders head to be removed , and a new valve lapped to the old seat , and a reassembly. Don't be "taken" just because you're not knowledgeable in the motor department. If something sounds fishy , post it , so we can review what you're being told.
