I am asking first before i start working on it, as one of you blokes will have had the same problem at some time. This was the first time i ever took the bike up to full trottle in second gear,it gets to about 3/4 open and severely misses.I dont have any trouble crusing.is that a fuel thing, do i have to get into the carby.1999 model with non standard sash cut pipes.it probably was a blessing at the time because it stopted me accelerating as i went around a bend and a cop was standing there with a speed gun, i was right on the limit.wow that was close.

That's your rev limiter kicking in, no worries.

curt thats what everybody was telling me on mine. But I have pro r hypercharger that came with the bike and I ended up putting spacers on the mounting brakets. What was happening in my case was that the air box was collapsing on me when I throttled it hard. After i put the spacers on it streched the air box out enough that it didn,t colapse anymore and wow what a ride whoo hoo
