After market Breather Forcewinder 4 Years ago

Hello Roadstar Clinic "Gurus"
Have a Question...... I hooked up a Forcewinder on my 2005 1700 the left upper carb rubber hose vent line which used to be hooked up on my stock breather does it get a small breather filter hooked up to this line or do I have to drill & tap into my Forcewinder 90 degree elbow to make the carb function properly if you suck on this line it idles up if you blow in it it shuts the engine down it must need a mild amount of suction to make the needle diaphram work properly!

Are you talking about the crankcase breather hose? If so just run it out to a filter or a one way valve. I don't know of any other hoses on the carb other than the gas in and the vacuum valve.

The vaccum line right in front of the TPS coasting en-richner I wanna think it works the diaphram on Deceleration.

No ..... the two hoses on the carb are not attached to anything.
One has a filter on it, the other is open to the air.
If you attach these hoses to a vacuum or pressure source the carb will not function correctly.

Thanks Doc!
do have a small question
when you suck on it while running the engine lobe evens out Is this line actuating the air bleed jet.
when you guys installed your BAK did you change out the Stock 2.0 air bleed jet or did you leave it alone.

The one with the filter is the vent for the vacuum diaphragm. The one with the hose is the vent for the float bowl.
The only jet that needs to be changed in most situations is the main jet.
