Any of you guys down south running an oil cooler? I just moved to FL from CO and its a TAD bit hotter here than what it is back home? Wondering if I really need to or if Im "cool" just the why shes running now

I'm not but I'm really considering it. This triple digit heat in Houston, TX is a killer. And to make things worse, I hear Musky took all the beer!!!

WELCOME TO FLORIDA!! I live in Lake Placid, work in Sebring, in the middle of the state. I have had my R* for over two years. Haven't had a bit of any problem due to heat. For what it is worth I run 20W50 Amsoil.

Naaaa, your good unless you plan on riding it in the Disney parade on "Pride" day. Seriously, on these scortching sunny days when there is no wind to cool off the engine, if you are stuck in traffic you might want to shut her down. I just wish I could find a decent oil temp gauge.

I got some bad gas the other day and it made my engine ping a little. Pissed me off but that been it riding here in North Florida.
