I have heard recently from other numb bikers, they put on the 4 inch risers on the handle bars so the hands are at a different angle and the numbness is gone !!!

I had the same numb issue, I have the ISO Grips and the Kury Throttle Boss and have always wore the padded gloves, I rode a friends 05 R* with pullback risers (4inch) and my right hand did not go numb after riding constant for approx. 100 miles and it was far more comfortable riding position. Good luck and hope you find a fix, I know it's not a good feeling when your fingers go numb and your not able to straighten them out to grab the brake.

Numb hands....yeah tell me about it! My hands go numb every time I ride. I think it's just something we all have to accept. I did recently purchase some fingerless leather gloves with a gel padding in them and they did help some but I don't think anything will get rid of it completely. My 06 Midnight Star vibrates like a Harley, I think it's just the nature of the beast!!!!

I had the problem for years. It was carpal tunnel syndrome. I had to have surgery on both hands, no big deal and the problem is gone! I certainly enjoy riding much more without having to try to shake the feeling back in my hands all the time!

I had this problem when I first got the Road* - bought QWI Gloves that took care of most of it. I read an advertisement by Baron's on pages 22 & 23 of STAR's Summer 2007 Newsletter that helped me reposition my wrists, which eliminated the rest of the numbness.

Mine used to go numb after a short time. But after changing to the Star Bar and Kury grips it hasn't happened yet!

I only have numbness on trips, but I ride w/fingerless gloves almost all of the time. Thanksfully, I've got a throttle lock, so I can "cruise" on trips and give my right hand a break. The left isn't much of a problem. Oh, and it does seem to feel like a carpal tunnel kind of thing.

Re:Numb Hand??? 2 Years, 10 Months ago
I cured it by buying thick foam grips, type used on motorcross bikes, theyre a lot wider than normal grips, grips cost approx $5 problem gone, Ok not good for a show bike, did 900 miles last weekend and no ache or numbness in hands at all
