o.e.m. big yami engine guard question 2 Years, 10 Months ago
hey guy's already have the oem lowers installed on my bike,like the look of the yami guards but they don't fit with the oem lowers (per yami) can i cut the oem lowers like buck's lowers that he sells. other: have moved my floorboards 3" (can't installed h-d guards) thanks bartish

I just installed the bigbar on my scoot and had to take the yami lowers off. I did do some trimming on one lower and wasn't able to make it work. Just not enough room there. Lots of guys here are using the harley lowers but I've not tried those. Gonna do something soon though as I love the difference the lowers make.

As for the floorboard extensions, I have mine moved forward 40mm or equal to the distance of one mounting hole. When I got my bigbar mounted I noticed the brake line was just touching the bar. Had to bend it just a little for it to clear so I don't think the 3 inch extensions will work. Some of the other guys will let you know of any problems they have had.
